OGB; THE NEW WIND

There is a new wind blowing in Ghana and across the world. It is the coolest wind to breeze the Ghanaian personality and soothe their hearts. It is the latest oasis from which the desperate and wobbling Ghanaian shall draw waters and quench their thirst. It is the only fountain that gives hope to the wandering soul with its sight. That wind is the biggest group to hit Ghana; that group is 'OMAN GHANA BAAKO' (OGB).

OGB is the association of Ghanaians, by Ghanaians and for Ghanaians. It is a non-governmental, non-religious, non-partisan, non-tribal, and an international group found in almost every space in the world where Ghanaians are.

You don't get it huh! Okay, listen. There has been a new association that is made up of Ghanaians in every corner of the world. It is called OGB. Members of OGB in every country promote the welfare of Ghana and it's citizens. Their bit is to help build the country Ghana with their intellect, skills, resources and strength. Members take on sensitization and educational programmes in schools, higher institutions, religious places, market squares and other public places on patriotism, nationalism and how to help develop the country Ghana. Members, again, aim at embarking on huge projects that will give employment opportunities, create revenue for the state through taxes, and create wealth for the ordinary citizens. OGB is to help build a sustainable economy that will benefit the Ghanaian and make the state 'Great and Strong', and attractive to the other worlds.

OGB members pay 1 (per month) of the currency of the country they are living in. Members in Ghana pay 1cedi every month; UK members pay £1; members in USA pay $1; those in other parts of Europe pay €1; Nigeria, 1 Naira, etc. These are chicken change; change we don't even ask for when we buy from the restaurants and pubs. But, to OGB, the accumulation of these one-one denominations make a huge fund that can help transform the country Ghana.

In OGB Executives' last sensitization tour to Ghana, they visited several people and places that matter: the presidency, all former presidents, religious leaders, opinion leaders, Apostle Emeritus Prof. Kwadwo Sarfo, some Ministries, departments and Agencies, among others.

Don't be perturbed, this is not another 'sikadie basabasa' avenue created by any unscrupulous minds; there is a strong sense of responsibility and accountability among leadership and members that every dime is accounted for.

Join the moving train and be part of the only organization with a wide global membership base that is going to change the fortunes of Ghana.

I'm a member!
