Oman Ghana Baako is a non-government policy organization; it is not a political party. Oman Ghana Baako develops policies to realize its vision & work with national & regional governments to implement them.
What kind of donations does OGB accept?
OGB accept the following kinds of donations from individuals, corporate organizations, international institutions & aid agencies and governments:
- Charitable Bequests.
- Gifts of Life Insurance.
- Gifts of Listed Securities (eligible shares and other securities)
- Charitable Annuities.
- Charitable Remainder Trusts.
- Endowment Funds.

What is the One (1) currency project about?
The idea was born out of the philosophy of ‘unity is strength’. Every Ghanaian of working age across the globe will be solicited to contribute a minimum of 1 currency of their country of residence. This together will be channeled towards one account where projects will be planned for the country.
How are donations distributed and used?
OGB ensures that when you donate, you want to know exactly where your money is going, and we pledge to be very clear and transparent with regards to spending from your donations. For every 1 currency you donate OGB will ensure at least 80% goes into proposed projects, 10% to support and running cost and 10% goes to soliciting further funds for the next project.

Oman Ghana Baako operates on a geographical/hierarchical structure with intended branches in Africa, Europe, North America, South America, Australia and Asia. OGB is governed by a board of trustees and an executive leadership team, who ensure that as an organization we are effective in working towards achieving our vision and mission, using our resources to maximum effect and upholding our core objectives.

Donations raised by OGB are managed by our internal financial management team and audited by Kaxton Advisory Ltd, an independent accounting firm working with the organization. Can I trust OGB to be transparent and provide us with accurate information?
OGB operates on a strict financial management policy which believes that effective risk management and the development of a culture of accountability and transparency are critical and form part of a robust and comprehensive accountability framework that contributes to sound management practices. Donations are allocated on a ‘bang for buck’ basis; donors are assured that funds cannot be diverted at any stage by individual or systemic corruption. This we have done by having meticulous accounting & rigorous, credible independent auditing by our external agencies.

When was Oman Ghana Baako formed?
The organization is a registered company with Companies House and with the Charities Commission UK, as an Incorporated Charitable Organization. It was formed in the United Kingdom in 2018 and registered in Ghana, February 2019.

How is OGB going to deal with corruption differently than other organizations?
Oman Ghana Baako intends to work with government to develop & implement civic education throughout Ghanaian society. We will produce modules for inclusion in school curricula; others for delivery in workplace training; others for delivery via print, radio & television; on-line versions accessible to all at any time; our speakers will be available for interview & public speaking.
What is the role of the Ghana diaspora in getting your aims achieved?
Oman Ghana Baako hopes to secure the intellectual, moral & financial support of its diaspora for our program, Ghana Can Be Better & to encourage those who are able, to return to Ghana before retirement from public or commercial life, bringing & sharing their experience & knowledge.
